Experienced Circling Pod

4 months online

Tuesdays fortnightly

17 March - 23 June

The Invitation
Nina Mohammed and I are inviting six people into a four-month online Circling pod for practitioners who already have experience in the field and are longing to deepen their practice.

Alongside this, we’re also offering a separate pod for those newer to Circling (details here).

This offering was born from a shared longing: for a committed, ongoing container where we can practise together - not just occasionally or intensively, but consistently - over time. A place where the work can root, mature, and where we can meet the same people again and again.

At the heart of this pod is a simple yet demanding practice that we both keep returning to:

Being with myself, whilst being with you.

We experience this as one of the most radical aspects of Circling - and one that remains alive and challenging for both of us.

Our role is to guide the group, drawing on our experience in the field. Just as importantly, we’ll be participating alongside you, meeting the practice from where we each are.

FAQs

What was the inspiration for this group?

This pod grew out of a conversation between us, where we arrived at the same realisation: that much of the depth of Circling lives in our capacity to stay rooted in our own experience while remaining in contact with another.

We’ve noticed how easily we can lose ourselves in connection - by smoothing over confusion, rushing to understanding, staying agreeable, or holding back something true because it feels risky to say.

And we’ve also tasted how powerful it can be when the very thing that might pull us out of connection becomes the way we connect.

For us, this looks like naming confusion rather than pretending to understand; slowing down when another part of us wants to keep pace; or sharing the edge of what makes us hesitate, rather than withdrawing.

This pod is an invitation to practise that capacity deliberately, repeatedly, and in relationship with the same group of people over time.

What do we mean by ‘experienced’?

We don’t hold a rigid definition of experienced.

This pod is likely to feel most nourishing for people who already know the terrain of Circling and are familiar with its core orientations - perhaps through an SAS with Transformational Connection Europe, or a similar training.

If you haven’t done formal training, a year or more of consistent practice can also be a helpful guidepost.

More than hours logged, we’re orienting towards people who:

  • can track their own experience in real time,

  • are familiar with staying present with discomfort,

  • and are longing to practise from subtler, more relational edges.

If you’re newer to Circling - still orienting, still building familiarity - we’re also offering a pod designed specifically for that stage, with a pace and level of support suited to settling into the practice.

Who are we?

Nina Mohammed

I’m a Uk-based psychotherapist and group facilitator with over ten years of experience in private practice. I’m also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness and CBT, and passionate about creating spaces where people feel safe enough to be real, with themselves and with each other.

My work is rooted in deep presence, gentle curiosity, and a trust in each person’s inner wisdom. Whether I’m working one-to-one or in groups, my intention is to support honest self-awareness, emotional healing, and authentic connection. I believe that when we slow down, turn towards what’s happening inside, and feel genuinely met by others, something profound begins to shift.

Sam Black

I’ve been practicing Circling for about 2 and a half years with Transformational Connection Europe. Alongside that I’m a therapist with a private practice, and I’ve spent most of the last 6 years working in the homelessness sector in the UK where I spent my last years training teams in more authentic communication practices.

My core focus now is on bringing myself more fully into presence in my own life and creating spaces where others are invited to do the same.

Someone I once trained described what I was teaching as the ‘easy, hard path’ which I think is accurate. In some ways it’s so simple. And yet it continues to be the hardest work I’ve ever experienced.
